Description:

The first installment in the new Frank Morrison thriller series.

It should’ve been a sweet deal. With his four partners, Frank Morrison has devised a clever plan to hack five banks for ten million dollars, but after they’ve only had time to extract two million from the first bank, the deal goes bad. Morrison is caught and sent behind bars while his partners remain in the shadows.

Fast forward three years. Morrison is released from prison after a full sentence. Thanks to the personal grudge of a law officer, there was no parole for him despite this being his first conviction. He’s now broke but he doesn’t care. He has a carefully prepared plan to get back into business. He’s ready to move on.

But Mike, one of his partners, is not. And Mike has changed. Contrary to Morrison, he no longer hesitates to resort to violence and forces him to revisit their deal gone bad.

When Frank Morrison gets the confirmation that the remaining eight million dollars were discreetly stolen after his own arrest, he turns to his other partners. Did one of them steal the money? As he progresses, Morrison will have to walk a fine line between the law and the partners that used to be his friends. In a new world where violence has become a factor, and the law is not as straight as it seems.

DEAL GONE BAD is set in the fictional small town of Acton, NY. It’s the first novel in the new thriller series featuring Frank Morrison, a sophisticated criminal in his early thirties.

About Frank Morrison

Frank Morrison is a smart and cunning man who devises clever operations to extract money from entities that can afford to lose some. He's a free spirit, a man who lives by his own rules. And while he may not exactly be described as a straight arrow, he's definitely not one of the bad guys.

Written in a crisp sharp noir style, the Frank Morrison thriller series will appeal to fans of taut, fast-paced suspense novels and dark thrillers. Don’t miss this stunning debut.

About the Author

Tony Wiley is the author of the novel DEAL GONE BAD, the first installment in the new Frank Morrison thriller series.

As an avid reader of crime fiction, he enjoys the thriller and mystery series of Lee Child, David Baldacci, John D MacDonald and Harlan Coben. A fan of the unconventional hero, he came up with the idea for Frank Morrison's character during one of his long bike rides on the picturesque roads of Northern Vermont.

Before he had kids and settled down, he rode solo from Detroit to San Diego during the glorious summer of 1999. The sights and scenes, and some of the people he met during that trip will no doubt resurface in the future Frank Morrison novels.

Tony works as an IT consultant. He lives in Montreal with his wife and three kids.
